The giant statue was built by the Yuan-Dao Guanyin Temple for travelers to pray, eat and enjoy the serene environment there. The giant statue is famous for its power as the Thousand-Hand and Eye Guanyin Bodhisattva Establishment. You may take shuttle bus at No. 215, Danjin Road, Section 2, Tamsui Dist., New Taipei City 251, Taiwan. If you want to take a closer view of the Thousand Hand Guanyin, you may tell the driver and take off at the first stop, otherwise, you could wait for the final destination for visiting the temple.

The successor of the Yuan-Dao Guanyin Temple expanded branches to the U.S., Japan and other countries, so people around the world could learn lessons from Buddha through monks. Some students are here for their test scores, believing one of the Buddhas here could bring them luck. Others are here for enjoying vegetarian foods, you may stay a while after praying to Buddhas. Lots of different statues are here, some are lying while others are standing, as long as you believe the power, it does not matter which statue poses the best position for us.

I visited here for paying tribute to Buddhas and one of my family members, who rests his life there forever. Everyone is welcome, but please be serious no matter what your purpose is. You may pray for good luck, apologize for your sins without letting others know.
Wish everyone enjoy the nature here. God bless us all.
