TAIUNA, Taiwan United Nations Alliance
The TAIUNA is the organization that promotes Taiwan for joining UN system, thanks to Blinken, the U.S. Secretary of State, urging all member-states to support Taiwan’s participation. Taiwan has been expelled by the UN for so many years, but many local groups of people were trying to encourage the participation of UN by signing the agreement. Although we failed for many times, some people still believe that we can join the UN someday. It is said that we need to agree on the new country name first, then we can apply for joining UN; however, turning from Republic of China to Taiwan State may take longer time than expected.
The composer of this song is Hung-Tze Jan and the poet is Han-Shiou Lu, who has won many medals for writing Taiwanese poems. Hung-Tze Jan is also a singer who has sung many beautiful local songs since 1996.
